About
About websbz
websbz, the Web Standards Bureau, is an independent awards and rankings program for web design companies. It launched in 2026.
The Name
websbz stands for the Web Standards Bureau. The name says what we do. We hold every firm to the same public standard and we show our work.
Why It Exists
Most agency lists rank whoever pays, or whoever collects the most reviews. We wanted a list built on things a buyer can check in a minute. Does the firm’s own site load fast and work for everyone. Does its name appear on live client sites. Does it tell you where it is and what it costs.
How We Make Money
Today we do not. If that changes, it will never be through rank, placement or seals. Any sponsor will be named on the method page.
Firms That Share an Owner
A few firms on our lists share an owner with websbz. Each one says so on its own profile, with the line websbz and this firm share an owner. They are scored with the same formula, from the same kind of public evidence, and they did not pay. No firm did.
A Note on This Domain
The websbz.com address once belonged to a different company. This awards program is new and has no connection to that business, its staff or its clients.
